Welcome! I am Caitlen Hathcock, proud owner of Northern Colorado Placenta Services, LLC. I'm also a wife and mother to four amazing kids, ages 12, 10, and 6 and 2! Throughout my journey in motherhood, I became wildly passionate about postpartum care. It becomes easy as a parent/mother to get so caught up in taking care of your baby's needs, we at times neglect our own in the process. But I realized through trial and error, how important it is to care for yourself in order to be the parent/mother you want to be for your baby. They need us at our best! The most incredible blessing during my postpartum recovery after my second and third births, were my capsules from my own placenta. Like many of my clients, I experienced a night and day difference when taking my capsules postpartum. I felt happy, energetic, calm, peaceful, and had an abundant breast milk supply (even tandem nursing my first and second babies!). The experience was everything I could have hoped for! From my experience, I was driven to offer placenta encapsulation services to the amazing women in this community. From the beginning, I strove to offer the best service I possibly could so I spent a year training and earning certification through the Association of Placenta Preparation Arts in 2015. I am now an instructor and mentor for APPA students and help others learn to establish reputable and safe placenta encapsulation practices of their own worldwide. I am so passionate about the work that I do and feel so blessed to get to help women recover from birth and enjoy the most precious time of their lives. Since I opened in 2015, I have encapsulated almost 1,000 placentas and the feedback I receive every day from my clients is overwhelmingly positive.
